Poker Face are a collaboration of the talents of husband and wife, Tony and Sharon.

Originally hailing from Scotland, they have over 40 years of entertainment industry experience between them.  Having recently relocated to New Zealand; they have brought with them the finely honed skills that are required to provide a first class entertainment solution.

Tony performs Lead and Backing Vocals, Keyboard and Guitar with Poker face.

He provides Poker Face with over 20 years of experience in "the biz"! Starting off in the UK, his career has taken him all over Europe and the USA and now to New Zealand as a performer, songwriter and producer. He is a good boy, and plays the Pipe Organ in his local Church.

He is an accomplished songwriter and producer and has several credits in film and production. He can be an inspired lyricist as well as being able to capture a beautiful melody.

Tony, in addition to his musical talents, is an experienced and trained public orator and presenter. He has acted as Master of Ceremonies for hundreds of Weddings, Civil Unions (or “Partnerships” in the UK) Bridal Shows and Charity Events all across the world. He brings a unique; calm, classy, distinctive and humorous (optional, of course!) style. Coupled with a lovely, warm Scottish accent, you really couldn’t ask for more!

Oh, and she adds some MUCH needed glamour! Sexy and hip, Sharon is the main focus of the band. An immensely talented singer and performer with a sultry, soulful and rocky sounding voice that is brilliantly unique, Sharon brings a dynamism to every performance that will make the hair on the back of your eyelids sit up and take notice.

She boasts a long family heritage in the music industry. She was a champion Latin Ballroom Dancer and appeared on stage in a major Theatre production of "Annie" as a kid.

Sharon McGeough has worked as an Event Planner, Coordinator and Wedding Director in the UK for the past several years and brings the most amazing organisational and inter-personal skills. Trained as an actress at the London School of Music and Drama, she is equally at home coordinating, ushering, organising and presenting when required.
